This page describes what [REGISTERED ENTITY — TO BE COMPLETED](“Hugsy Pages”, “we”) collects when you build a page, what the person you send it to gives up by opening it, and how to get any of it deleted.

What we store

Two separate things, and they are worth keeping apart:

• Your account and your content. The email address you sign in with, and everything you put into a page — text, photographs, voice notes, dates and names.
• Nothing at all from the recipient. A person opening a page you made is not asked to sign in, is not profiled, and is not tracked across other sites.

Where it is stored

Page documents are held in Google Firestore and media in Firebase Storage, both in the asia-south2 (Delhi) region. Photographs and voice notes are converted into fixed-size derivatives once, at upload, and served from that same region.

Who can see a published page

A published page lives at a private, unguessable URL. It is excluded from our sitemap, it sends a noindex instruction to search engines, and it is disallowed in our robots.txt. It is not listed anywhere on this site.

If you set a lock code, the page’s contents are checked on our server before anything is sent to the browser. A locked page is not a page that arrives and then hides itself — the content genuinely does not leave the server until the code is right.

That said: anyone holding the link can open an unlocked page. Treat the link the way you would treat the gift itself.

Cookies

We set a cookie to keep you signed in to the studio, and a short-lived one to remember that a lock code was entered correctly so the recipient is not asked again on every scroll. We do not use advertising cookies.

Deleting your data

Email admin@hugsy.app and we will delete your account, your pages and their media. Once deleted, a published link stops working immediately and the underlying files are removed from storage. We aim to complete this within 7 days.

Your rights in India

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it erased. Write to admin@hugsy.app and a person will answer.

Changes

If this page changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects pages you have already published, tell you by email.
